Before I created Forever HIREABLE™, I built a 15+ year career as a global communications executive with organizations including IBM, NASA, and Salesforce.
I led and managed teams spanning Europe, Asia and South America. I worked inside some of the world’s most respected organizations, where I learned how reputations are built, leaders are developed and careers advance.
At IBM, I also served as a campus recruiter. I saw what happens behind the closed doors of the hiring process, how employers evaluate candidates, why talented women get overlooked and what makes one person stand out when everyone appears qualified on paper.
I created IBM’s first Corporate Communications Internship Program and was selected to serve on university journalism advisory boards, helping design practicum experiences that better prepared college women to enter the professional world.
So when you sit down with me, you are not receiving career advice based on theory.
You are learning from someone who has recruited candidates, reviewed thousands of résumés, built internship experiences and worked inside the rooms where careers and hiring decisions are shaped.
But my career—and my life—did not follow a perfectly straight line.
I made the deeply personal decision to step away from corporate life to help care for my mother at the end of her life as she battled pancreatic cancer.
Losing her changed the way I thought about time, purpose and the work I wanted my life to represent. I no longer wanted to simply build an impressive career. I wanted to use everything I had learned to help other women build lives and careers they would be proud of.
That decision eventually brought me even closer to the women I felt called to serve.
For nearly 10 years, I lived and worked alongside college women as a Sorority House Director. I did not observe college life from an office or meet with students for an occasional appointment. I served college women up close, around the clock.
I saw the pressure behind the polished resume.
I heard the questions you may be afraid to ask out loud.
Am I doing enough? What if I choose the wrong career?
Why does everyone else seem more prepared?
What if I graduate and still cannot prove my value?
So when you tell me you are accomplished but still uncertain about what comes next, I understand. I have spent nearly a decade listening to women like you, advocating for them and helping them navigate some of the most defining decisions of their lives.
That is what makes my perspective different.
I understand you and I understand the people deciding whether to hire you.
I have coached, mentored and supported more than 2,500 college women and early-career professionals. Women I have supported have gone on to careers with Google, Disney, Deloitte, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Salesforce, Coca-Cola, Accenture, KPMG, Estée Lauder, HP, Teach For America and L’Oréal.
Collectively, I have helped clients negotiate more than $10 million in salary packages.
But the transformation is bigger than a résumé, an interview or even one job offer.
I help you see the value you have been too close to recognize. I help you communicate that value so employers can recognize it too. And I help you move from wondering whether you are ready to knowing how to compete.
Because I have seen what happens when a college woman stops guessing and starts moving with strategy.
She does not just become more confident.
She becomes more competitive.
She creates options.
And in some cases, she does not graduate with one, two or even three job offers, she graduates with five or more opportunities to choose from.
That is the transformation I created Forever HIREABLE™ to help you experience.
College prepares you to earn your degree.
Forever HIREABLE™ prepares you to build your career.
